Break out that sense of irony; this vegan and gluten free Hipster Smoothie is full of the healthiest hipster ingredients and 10g of protein for a nutritious morning meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, cut into pieces and frozen overnight
  • 1 cup raw chopped kale (remove the stalks)
  • 2 tsp. chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp. ground flax seeds
  • 2 tsp. hemp seeds
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4+ cup unsweetened almond milk (I used vanilla)
  • Ice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients (except ice) in a high-powered blender in the order shown and blend until smooth. Add ice for a thicker texture.
  2. Pour into mason jar (not optional) and drink while your cold-brew coffee is brewing.
