Vegan Matcha Affogato with Sesame Seeds

A fun vegan twist on the Italian dessert! Requires less than 5 ingredients and is ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop vegan ice cream/gelato (I recommend vanilla bean)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/4 tsp. matcha
  • white + black sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Scoop your ice cream into a bowl and stick it into the freezer to firm up a bit, about 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, heat up your almond milk in a small pot on the stove. Once hot, add matcha and whisk well to combine.
  3. Pour matcha over your ice cream and top with sesame seeds. Enjoy immediately.
