I have a short and sweet post for ya because I’m introducing Affogato Week here on the blog!
Do you know about the beautiful, wonderful creation called affogato? I told someone about it over the weekend, and their mind was pretty much blown. So if you’ve never heard of it, don’t sweat it.
Affogato means “drowned” in Italian, so an affogato in dessert form is gelato or ice cream drowned in some sort of hot liquid goodness. Typically dark, strong espresso.
But these affogati (plural)…they got a bit of a makeover. A slightly unconventional, albeit totally 100% delicious makeover.
SO! Tuesday – Friday (yep! I’m posting every day this week!!), I’ll be bringing you a new and exciting way to affogato, and I seriously can’t wait to share them with you. But as a teaser, all of the recipes:
- are vegan
- require 5 ingredients or less
- require less than 5 minutes to make
- are the perfect sweet treats
