Hi!
This has been a wonderful week, don’tcha think? It was my first week of summer vacation. I worked on some kick-butt recipes. I tried this amazing tea. I ate Mexican food like, every day. It was the perfect week.
Because I have some summer vacation time before I start my “big girl” job, I will be cooking like a crazy person, trying to work on some quality content for all ya’ll. So I’m here to ask: Do you have any requests? What kinds of recipes do you want to see more/less of? Want more whole food desserts? How about quick and easy entrées? Request away!
In the meantime, I’m going to link to some recipes that would make kick-butt additions to any of your summertime picnics or parties. I don’t know about you, but one of the things I look forward to most in May, June, and July are the fun, food-filled, and family-and-friend-packed picnics that always fill up my weekend plans. Bring some of these to your next outing, and you’re sure to be the hit of the party:Read More
I love my birthday. Is that too narcissistic to admit? I really do.
My birthday is on December 18, and I actually started Fooduzzi on my birthday last year. Because of my birthday’s proximity to Christmas, I’m lucky enough to have an “Alexa’s Birthday Week” of sorts. I always get to see all of my family and friends. I get to partake in the delicious Christmas foods all week. It’s a glorious seven days.Read More
There have been 10 whole Stupid Awesome Saturday recipe roundups already! Where has the time gone?
This intro is going to be short & sweet because I’m getting all Pomp and Circumstanced and whatnot today. Thank you for being so supportive of my graduation, Fooduzzi followers. You truly are one of the best parts of my day.
Another “best part” of my day? My mom. Happy Mother’s Day to all of you wonderful givers out there. I’m thrilled to be celebrating such an exciting weekend with my mom. You make my life infinitely better, Mama Fooduzzi. I love ya big much.
One of the best ways to show you truly love someone, in my humble opinion, is to cook for them; therefore, I will definitely be cookin’ up a little somethin’ somethin’ for my mom tomorrow morning. Here are some recipes that are sure to make Mother’s Day that much sweeter for just about any mom:Read More
Allow me tell you a story.
One day, Pittsburgh was experiencing some uncharacteristically hot weather. Alexa, out of the goodness of her own heart, decided to make and shoot a smoothie recipe so that her best friend, Mark, could drink it and get all energized and such.
[Alexa’s quite the sweetheart]
